8/3/20: Wassup y’all! It’s been a couple of weeks since I put out a new post. I have been spending the summer trying to figure out a secure plan for my life after graduation. For those who don’t know, I will be going into my senior year of college this week. Move-in is coming up this Thursday and I couldn’t be more nervcited. It’s like I’m excited to experience my last two semesters but I’m also nervous about my transition into full-on adulthood. One thing about me is that I am a perfectionist to a T, even when it comes to making decisions. I have been looking for jobs in my career field and I’ve found some good ones but none that have interested me enough. I know I want to work in the communications and marketing department but it’s the matter of finding the right company for me. Now I can say that I have made progress with my post-graduation plans.

8/17/20: I finally came back to finish up this post. The last time I wrote, I felt a little nervous about starting my senior year but during the past two weeks, I have become more excited and ready than nervous. I guess that is a good thing. One thing that I’m interested to see is how this school year will play out during this pandemic. I’m hoping for the best! Honestly, the main thing that I don’t want Corona to affect is my graduation. I have always thought about my college graduation. I really hope that I can actually walk so that my grandma can see me. She didn’t get to see me graduate high school so I’ve gone through college waiting for my college graduation. I just hope for the best. Enough of the stress talk lol. I want to give a shout out to all of the upcoming college graduates of my high school class; LHS Class of ’17 (the best class to ever walk the halls) I’m excited to see us flourish into a new phase of our lives!

P.S. I know that I’ve missed a couple of posts but now that I have a more stable schedule, I’ll try to post more often. Thanks to the people who are still rocking with me and Gettin' Real With Miriam. Love ya!
